How long should I let my candles burn?
The first burn of a candle is the most important one. You should make this first burn as long as possible, at least 3-4 hours with each successive burn 2-3 hours long. This will ensure that all of the wax across the top of the candle will be melted and allow your candle to burn evenly. This will prevent your candle from welling- burning down the center of the candle leaving all of the wax along the sides. Some wax remaining on the sides of the jar is normal.
